The BLS for Healthcare Providers course covers core material such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask), foreign-body airway obstruction and automated external defibrillation. Heartsaver CPR / AED Course

Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTS)

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is pleased to bring you the Second Edition of its national pediatric first aid course, Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs). The PedFACTs course is designed to give caregivers and teachers the education and confidence that they need to care effectively for sick or injured children. This participant manual is the core of the PedFACTs course with features that reinforce and expand on the essential information. Each emergency topic is divided into three sections:

  • What You Should Know: Provides background information.
  • What You Should Look For: Provides assessment information.

NSC Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogens

29 CFR 1910.1030 requires employers to safeguard employees who have reasonably anticipated exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials.
